Since 1993, the Texas Mesquite Association has hosted the Texas Mesquite & Fine Arts Festival in historic Fredericksburg, Texas. The festival features artisan crafted furniture, gifts, paintings, sculpture and jewelry. The event attracts an affluent crowd which travels from across Texas and beyond. Fredericksburg typically hosts up to almost 20,00 visitors a weekend.

Artisans may apply to exhibit at the festival via ZAPPlication beginning April 1 and through May 31 without penalty; a $50 penalty applies to applications received afterward up through July 31.
